Condition: Poor Memory •  Deficiency Heart/Spleen
Treatment: Tonify Heart and Spleen, tonify Qi and blood to improve memory
Description: Deficiency of Heart and Spleen - Forgetfulness, listlessness, weakness of the four limbs, palpitation, poor sleep and appetite, shortness of breath, low voice, pallor complexion, pale tongue proper with teeth marks on the edge, thin white or greasy tongue coating, weak thready pulse.
Comment: BL15 and BL20 used together.

Point Selection:
BL15 • Xin Shu • On the upper back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the fifth thoracic vertebra (T5).
Heart Shu. Back Shu of the Heart that connects with Front Mu CV14.
Explanation: Back Shu point of the Heart.

BL17 • Ge Shu • On the middle back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the seventh thoracic vertebra (T7).
Diaphragm Shu.
Explanation: Influential point of Blood.

BL20 • Pi Shu • On the middle back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the eleventh thoracic vertebra (T11).
Spleen Shu. Back Shu of the Spleen that connects with Front Mu LR13.
Explanation: Back Shu point of the Spleen.

CV6 • Qi Hai • On the lower abdomen, on the anterior midline, 1.5 cun inferior to the umbilicus.
Sea of Qi. Front Mu Point for Sea of Qi that connects with Back Shu BL24.

GV20 • Bai Hui • On the midsagittal line, at the intersection of a line connecting the right and left ear apices.
Hundred Meetings. Meeting Point on the Governing Vessel with the six yang channels.
